Bel Air Community Chorus begins rehearsals for their Spring Season on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. The Spring Concert,“Voices of America: A History of American Music”, will be performed on Sunday, April 27, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at the Bel Air High School Performing Arts Center.
Under the able directorship of Jay Althouse and accompanied by Jenny Anderson , the chorus performs a variety of music including show tunes, pop music, and sacred music. We are always looking for new members: sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses are welcome to join us. Our ages range from 16-70+.
Rehearsals are currently being held at the First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, corner of Main and Broadway, on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.
Our Mission is to provide quality entertainment across various venues to the community and a place where people can share their love of singing and performing in a community setting. Lovely melodies, beautiful accompaniments, a fantastic director and talented singers for the enjoyment of all - that's what makes up The Bel Air Community Chorus - ! and...it's a great place to meet those who share the love of music!!
